Our story
orderhero was founded by Dennis Weiß. He has been developing software for over 18 years and has been a hotelier and restaurateur in Rust himself since 2013. If you stand at the register every day, juggle reservations and do the end-of-day cash-up in the evening, you quickly notice where the tools fall short.
The existing systems didn't convince him: a POS from here, reservations from there, a third program for card payments, a fourth for menu boards. Each with its own contract, its own menu and its own fees. Data that doesn't fit together, and statements you end up reconciling by hand anyway.
So he started building it himself, first for his own businesses. That's how orderhero came about: one platform where POS, kitchen display, kiosk, reservations, online shop, vouchers and card payments share the same menu and the same orders.
